How much longer till the coming of the true Messiah?  What lies ahead for this tottering old world in the next few years Does this tie in with Biblical prophecy for the “time of the end”?

When the Messiah returns, He will inaugurate a millennial kingdom lasting one thousand years.  As John wrote, when the Anointed One, the Christ, comes, the Adversary – Satan the devil – will be bound for one thousand years (Rev.20:1-3).  John relates, “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them; and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and REIGNED WITH CHRIST A THOUSAND YEARS. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished”(Rev.20:4-5).

The pattern of the seven day week, concluded by a Sabbath day of rest from work, labor, and toil, is a picture of the Plan of God.  If the Sabbath of rest from “man’s works,” lasts 1000 years (Rev.20:4), then the previous six “days” would equal SIX THOUSAND years in fulfillment!  Literally a “day” in God’s plan is a thousand years, and therefore a “week” in God's plan is seven thousand years!

Abraham was born 1948 years after Adam and began aged 52 convincing people (Jewish tradition)  to worship God ,exactly 2000 years after Adam

When did God make a covenant with Abraham ?

The Apostle Paul writes in Galations 3:17:

"And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect."

Genesis 17:

1: And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
2: And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
3: And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
4: As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5: Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6: And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7: And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
8: And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
9: And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
10: This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
11: And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
12: And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
13: He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
14: And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
15: And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
16: And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
17: Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
18: And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!
19: And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
20: And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
21: But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
22: And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.
23: And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
24: And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
25: And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
26: In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.
27: And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.

We can see from this passage that Yahweh made an everlasting covenant with Abraham and his seed when the patriarch was ninety nine (99) years old: which was in year 1948 + 99 = 2047.

Our amended chronological chart would then read as follows:

·

The Law was given 430 years after the covenant (Galatians 3:17)

How can we prove that from the law to the temple was 480 years?

It plainly states in 1 Kings 6:1 that building operations of the Temple began 480 years after the children of Israel came out of Egypt; which was a just a few weeks before the law was given at Sinai.

According to Luke 3:1-21 Jesus was baptised by John in the 15th year of the Emperor Tiberius, when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judaea. Depending on which historian you believe, that was between the years AD 26 and AD 30. I believe  that the 15th year of the Emperor Tiberius was AD 28.

Luke 3:1:

Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene, 2: Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3: And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

If you study Luke chapters 3 and 4 you will see that immediately after his baptism Jesus went into the wilderness to be tempted of the Devil (Luke 4:1-13). Then after 40 days he returned to Nazareth and entered the synagogue (verses 14-19). In the synagogue he was given the Scriptures to read and after finding the place he read from Isaiah chapter 61. That chapter tells of the spiritual realities to which a Jubilee points. It tells of how the Messiah would:

That sermon was preached in the 15th year of the Emperor Tiberius; when the Saviour began his earthly ministry in fulfilment of the prophecy.

THE AGES OF THE 7,000-YEAR
PLAN OF G-D

When the G-d of Israel created Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden , He ordained that from the creation of Adam and Eve to the end of the Messianic Age  would be 7,000 years of time. Before the creation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden  was eternity past. After the Messianic Age  is eternity future. Future eternity  will be a return to the paradise of eternity past by the Garden of Eden  before the sin of Adam. Time is going forward to the past. That which was Garden of Eden before the sin of Adam is that which shall be eternity future Heaven.."

Traditional Judaism  understands that the first 6,000 years is known as the present age/world . These first 6,000 years are divided into three 2,000-year periods of time or ages. The first 2,000 years from the creation of Adam to the time of Abraham  is known as the period/age of desolation (Tohu). The next two thousand years from the time of Abraham to the expected arrival of the Jewish Messiah  is known as the period/age of Torah. The final 2,000 years of time within the 6,000 years of the present/age world  is known as the days of the Messiah. The last 1,000 years is known as the Messianic era or the future age/coming  The 7,000-year redemptive plan of the G-d of Israel can be seen in the following chart.

"Moreover concerning the Sabbath ... Of the Sabbath He speaketh in the beginning of Creation;   And GOD made the works of His hands in six days, and He ended on the seventh day, and rested on it, and He hallowed it.   Give heed children, what this meaneth;   He ended in six days.   He meaneth this, that in six thousand years the LORD shall bring all things to an end; for the day with Him signifyeth a thousand years; and this He himself beareth me witness, saying;   Behold, the day of the LORD shall be as a thousand years.   Therefore, He rested on the seventh day.   This He meaneth; when His son shall come, and shall abolish the time of the Lawless One, and shall judge the ungodly ... then shall He truly rest on the seventh day."

1000 Year-Days

Jesus was
baptized 28 AC

The LORD'S  Day Will Day
Will Begin  Year 2028

Irenaeus, who lived from A.D. 120 to 202, was a disciple of Polycarp, one of God’s true servants in Asia Minor, who himself was a disciple of the apostle John.  Polycarp sent Pothus into Celtic Gaul at an early date to establish the region, and he settled in Lyons, when Irenaeus joined him, having been his fellow-pupil under Polycarp.  In his battle against raging heresies which were inundating the church at that time, Irenaeus wrote his Against Heresies.  In book 1, chapter xxviii, 3, we read:

“For in as many days as this world was made, in so many thousand

years shall it be concluded.  And for this reason the Scripture says:

“Thus the heaven and the earth were finished, and all their adornment.

And God brought to a conclusion upon the sixth day the works that

He had made; and God rested upon the seventh day from all His works.’

This is an account of the things formerly created, as also it is a prophecy

of what is to come.  For the day of the Lord is as a thousand years; and

in six days created things were completed:  it is evident, therefore, that

they will come to and END at the sixth thousand year”..

The Encyclopedia Britannica, eleventh edition, concerning the    Talmud, states:

“The view most frequently expressed there . . . is that the Messianic

kingdom will last for one thousand (some said two thousand) years.

‘In six days God created the world, on the seventh He rested.  But a

day of God is equal to a thousand years (Ps.90:4).  Hence the WORLD

WILL LAST FOR SIX THOUSAND YEARS of toil and labor; then

will come one thousand years of Sabbath rest for the people of God in

the kingdom of the Messiah.’  This idea must have already been very

common in the first century before Christ” (“Millennium,” p.459).

The school of Eliyahu [Elijah] teaches:  “The world exists for six thousand

years – two thousand of them tohu [“void”]; two thousand, Torah; and two

thousand, the era of the Messiah.  But because of our numerous iniquities

many of these years have been lost”’ (Sanhedrin 97a-97b).

God established a covenant with man from the beginning of this “age” that is called the “Everlasting Covenant”.  This covenant is the Sabbath.  The Sabbath Covenant was given to man in the form of 6 days of work and a 7th day of rest.  The Sabbath covenant is truly EVERLASTING.  It was never nullified or made void by any of the following covenants God made with man.  The Sabbath was in effect through the Adamic, Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, and Davidic covenants and holds true even now in the New Covenant of Yahshua the Messiah.

The reason this covenant is special and was never made void is because it represents God’s timeline during which He will execute His Plan for man.  It represents 6,000 years or 120 Jubilees of “labor” whereby man would be under the curse of Sin and self-government; then 1,000 years of “rest” whereby man would be released from the curse of Sin and be under the divine government of the King Yahshua the Messiah.

God’s people are commanded to keep the Sabbath Covenant because by doing so, we keep the knowledge of God’s timing alive, we continually celebrate the Second Coming, and we honor the blessings of God to enter into the rest of the 7th Millennium.

The question is, where in scripture are we told specifically that the covenant of the Sabbath represents 7,000 years and points to the second coming?  We find the explanation in 2 Peter 3.  Below is my commentary on this most important scripture that defines God’s plan as 7,000 years and that Yahshua returns in the 7th Millennium.

The Millennial Scale of the Everlasting Covenant

Interestingly enough, even the numbering scheme of 2 Peter 3 even points to the timing of the Second Coming.  Yahshua returns again after 2 millenniums in the 3rd  millennium after His first coming!

2 Peter 3:2-18 (NKJV)

“But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

NOTE:  We’ve all heard this quote.  Many times this is MIS-quoted to mean the 7 days of creation are not literal “days” but rather “unknown periods of time”.  NOT TRUE.  That is not at all what 2 Peter 3 is about and another example of worthless shepherds taking the Word of God out of context to explain away things they do not understand.  The truth of creation being “literal days” in Genesis is another story all together.  2 Peter 3 has nothing to do with the duration of creation days.  That is clearly established in Genesis.  I have never heard 2 Peter 3 accurately taught.
2 Peter3 is not referring to the length of days in creation, but rather confirming that the Everlasting Covenant represents 7,000 years and that the Second Coming occurs after the 6,000th year.  In context, 2 Peter 3 is discussing the TIMING OF THE SECOND COMING… not creation.
The first step in understanding the timing of the Second Coming and the beginning of the Millennial Reign is to establish through scripture that the Everlasting Covenant is in fact a portrait of God’s plan and that it represents 7,000 years.

We will discover that Peter is telling his audience that:

1.        God’s plan and timeline can be known by studying prophecy.

2.        The context of discussion is the timing of the Second Coming.

3.        This “age” began with Adam and ends 7,000 years later after the Millennial Reign.

4.        The Everlasting Covenant of 6 days and a 7th day is a millennial portrait.

5.        The Second Coming is PREDESTINED to occur after 6,000 years.

Below, I provide a commentary on 2 Peter 3; establishing the context is the Second Coming and the timeframe of this “age” represented by the Everlasting Covenant is 7,000 years.

God’s Plan is Laid Out in Prophecy and the Words of the Apostles

1“Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder),2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior,

Commentary: Here in verse 1, Peter is again reminding us to study prophecy and the words of the apostles to avoid being mislead concerning the second coming.  God’s plan for man is laid out through prophecy.

The Context of This Chapter is the Second Coming in the Last Days

3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,

4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation."

Commentary: Verse 3 establishes the context of this scripture is LAST DAYS.  Verse 4 establishes that in CONTEXT of the LAST DAYS the subject is the timing of the SECOND COMING.  Saying that over the years between the first and second coming, false prophets will predict an immanent return (rapture) causing End Time people to mock the entire concept of a Second Coming because predictions over the ages have all been untrue.  These false prophets and “mockers” should never have expected the Second Coming prior to the end of 6,000 years, as we will see.

Peters Refers to the Everlasting Covenant and Establishes the Boundaries of this “Age”

5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,

6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.

7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Commentary: Verse 5 indicates that the End Time people will “willfully forget” the portrait of the Sabbath Everlasting Covenant.  Peter directs our attention to the story of Creation, in which God gave us the Everlasting Covenant of the Sabbath.

In Verses 6-7, Peter establishes the boundaries of this “age” represented by the Everlasting Sabbath Covenant.  The boundaries are the creation of Adam (when the Earth was destroyed due to the rebellion of Lucifer) through the end of the Millennial Reign when the Earth will be destroyed by fire.

Now, having redirected our attention to the 6 days of creation and 7th day of rest (the Everlasting Covenant of the Sabbath) and establishing the boundaries that this covenant covers as being from the creation of Adam through the end of the Millennial Reign… Peter then defines the duration.

Peter Defines the Duration of this “Age” to be 7,000 Years

8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Commentary: In verse 8, having just redirected our attention to the 6 days of creation and 7th day of rest (Sabbath Covenant), Peters clearly defines the duration of God’s Plan for man from Adam until the end of the Millennial Reign to be 7,000 years.  That in regards to the Lord’s return a day is a thousand years.  A Millennium for each of the days in the portrait of the Everlasting Covenant.  With the 7th day, the Sabbath, representing the 7th Millennium or the Millennial Reign of Yahshua the Messiah.

.

When Is the Jubilee Year?

According to William Whiston's footnotes to Josephus, 24 B.C. was a Sabbatical year, and 23 B.C. was a Jubilee year. This would mean that A.D. 27 was a Sabbatical year, and A.D. 28 was a Jubilee year. If this is true, then 1977 was a Sabbatical year and 1978 a Jubilee year. Sabbatical years would occur in 1985, 1992, 1999, 2006, 2013, 2020 and 2027, with the next Jubilee in 2028.

The.
Seven Feasts of Israel are key waypoints on a roadmap into holy history. Four of them have been fulfilled already. They were fulfilled in epic fashion right on those auspicious Hebrew calendar dates to which they belong. This was true for each of the three spring feasts and the summer feast of Pentecost as well. Here is the situation so far.

1. Passover             Fulfilled! (By Jesus/Yeshua at His crucifixion
in the spring of 31 A.D.)

2. Feast of Unleavened Bread   Fulfilled! (By Jesus/Yeshua at His burial in the tomb
in the spring of 31 A.D.)

3. Feast of Firstfruits       Fulfilled! (By Jesus/Yeshua at His Resurrection
in the spring of 31 A.D.)

4. Feast of Pentecost       Fulfilled! (By the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost
in the summer of 31 A.D.)

They are probably just up ahead.

5. The

6. The Day of Atonement      Unfulfilled ....(as of yet).

HOW MIGHT JESUS FULFILL THE FALL FEASTS?
----------------------------------------
The accuracy in which Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts at His first
appearance is inescapable! By examining the three fall feasts more
closely, we can understand how Jesus may complete God's plan for man
through their fulfillment. The Hebrew and English names for the three
fall feasts are:

HEBREW        ENGLISH
Yom T'ruah    Trumpets
              (also called Rosh HaShanah)
Yom Kippur    Day of Atonement
              (also called Yom haDin)
Sukkot        Tabernacles
              (also called Booths)
In Jewish
eschatology, the Feast of Trumpets is a solemn time of self evaluation.
On this day, it is said that God writes the names of those found
completely righteous into the Book of Life, those found completely.

wicked are written into the Book of Death and those found neither
completely righteous or completely wicked await the Day of Atonement for their judgment.
Jewish eschatology is consistent with this view. The Rabbis taught
that when 6000 years (or six "days") of human history are completed, the
seventh day, the Day of the Lord will come. On the Feast of Trumpets,
Tishri 1, the shofar will sound and all the righteous, both dead and
alive will be resurrected. The righteous will go to the "gates" for the
coronation of the King, the Messiah and then be united with the Messiah
as His bride.

GOD

God creates light, the heavens, and the earth. (Genesis 1, John 1:1- 5)

Gods divides waters from waters and makes the firmament.

God gathers the waters, dry land appears, grass tree and herb are made.

God makes the sun, moon, stars and planets.

God creates all sea animals and all birds. After the flood they will die for us!

God creates all land animals the insects and then one man and one woman!

God calls everything good then He Rests!

beginning with the angels

in eternity.

1. God has a one on one relationship with man until man allows himself to be deceived by the angel Lucifer.

2. After man's dealings with the "accuser" (Satan) God promised a
redeemer.
(Himself, the Messiah).
(Genesis 3:15)

3. This redeemer would come through the line of Abraham
(Gen. 12:3),
Judah, (Gen. 49:10)...
8

4. And more
specifically from the line of David
(II Sam 7:13, Matthew 1 & Luke 3:23 to 38).

5. Messiah comes and He dies a brutal death for the sins of the world (Isaiah 53 & Psalms 22). Israel rejects Him. (Hosea 5:14 - 6:2)

6. Israel will recognize Him after the whole world will come against them. (Ezekiel 38, Daniel, Isaiah, & Revelation.

7. Messiah returns and sets up His thousand year kingdom. Jerusalem is the Holy City. (Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel & Revelation.)

8. The eternal Kingdom with a new heaven and a new earth for all eternity!
Revelation 21

and the angels
in eternity.

The Passover Lamb was to be chosen on the 10th day of Nisan, and slain on the 14th, a gap of 4 days. This was a veiled reference to the 4,000 years between the fall and the crucifixion. Jesus was "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (Rev.13:8) in the purposes of God, but fulfilled literally 4,000 years later.  (Incidentally, this chronology only works by accepting the normal [Massoretic] Hebrew text of Genesis, NOT the spurious Septuagint version.)
